I applied RePelWell to two side chairs that I recently had reupholstered. Since I went with a cream color fabric I knew it would need protection. I used a 28oz container spraying both paying particular attention to the arms as that’s where sticking fingers find their way. This covered about 4 yards of very tightly woven Italian boule fabric.
Was worried about the black painted frames and possible discoloration of the fabric as my sample I did prior showed a little yellowing/tanning of color change. But. No problems. All went well. It took about 22hours to dry completely. In the picture I placed a piece of the fabric on the framing to show that there was no noticeable discoloration. Using RePelWell was a wise decision.
No spills yet but so far so good!
Thought I would give the product and try based on previous reviews and guarantee. The products works great! I learned that saturating the upholstery is the key to getting the desired results. Most importantly, you would want to reapply the product after the first 20-30 minutes for the initial application. This will ensure locking in the barrier and protectant. Be sure to follow the step by step illustrations on the bottle and on the website - if you are not completely satisfied you have the option to discuss with staff members for a viable resolution.
Wonderful and Excellent product. Will keep ordering.
